By 2023, it would have been 40 years since the Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) returns to Thailand. The last one, the 4^th AOCR was held here in 1983. At that time, Dr Romsai Suwanik was the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology (AOSR) President. Thailand was also one of the founding members of the AOSR.

We are so glad that the Radiological Society of Thailand will be the 21^st AOCR host organizing committee, under Congress Chair, Asst Prof Jarturon Tantivatana in collaboration with the Royal College of Radiologists of Thailand where Assoc Prof Wiwatana Tanomkiat is the Scientific Chair. In addition, the host organizing committee - Team Thailand - has many supporting organizations.

The organizing committee has ensured registration fees have taken into account that in Asia-Oceania there are low (LIC) and low middle-income (LMIC) countries. Thailand is world famous for its hospitality, world class convention facilities, and its many sights and glorious variety of food. Bangkok is a great shopping destination, or you may prefer to relax in the spas or enjoy the city culture ride bicycle tours. There is something for everyone, outside of the program that the scientific and social committees are working very hard to put together.

We hope the COVID-19 pandemic will stabilise enough for more from the region to attend in person in Bangkok. Wait no more, mark your calendar, and register for the AOCR2023! See you there in person.
